About Our Team
At Harding Metals, we have a highly skilled team of experienced people who have been with us for many years. All of us know our business and are qualified to help you, our customers.
Edso Harding
President and Co-Owner
I have to say in my life time I have taken a lot of scrap! I have worked full-time during the summers while going to school and full-time year-round after my college years. I have never been employed by anyone other than Harding Metals, Inc. My father died at age 61 and at age 27, my younger brother and I inherited the company. As a rookie, I remember when identifying metals like Hastelloy, Waspalloy, Nickel, Monel, Inconel, Tantalum, Titanium, and Tungsten, etc. were learned on the job by spark testing and acid testing. Now we have hand held metal analyzers that give you results in seconds. My wife Sheila and I love living in our area. If you don’t find us on the slopes or on the boat we just may be traveling. Oh, you might find me at the office too!
Joe Harding
Vice President and Co-Owner
I am co-owner and heads up purchasing of commercial scrap accounts. I spend a good deal of my time visiting customers and making sure Harding Metals, Inc. is providing the best service in the industry. Over the years I have been instrumental in developing new and updated designs for equipment we use to service our customers. Along with Ryan Chadbourn and Rheal St. Germain, we have led the way for Harding Metals, Inc. to recondition oils and coolants from many of the machine shops we currently service. I enjoy running, hiking, winter skiing and spending time with my wife Laura, son Jameson and daughter Julia.
Dan Daley
General Manager, Sales
My name is Dan Daley but everyone calls me Dan the Man and I have worked at Harding Metals for over 25 years. As GM, I oversee day-to-day operations along with some buying and most recently, am selling more of our metals. I help with our shipping schedule, inventory, and settlements. I always make sure there is a fresh pot of coffee (junkman java) ready every morning. I enjoy hiking and hunting in my free time. Also, you can’t beat time with grandkids!
Eds Harding
VP of Operations
I’ve worked all over the yard through the years and now my primary job is managing it. I make sure incoming material is processed correctly and organized while helping manage the inventory of finished product. A lot of my focus is on keeping our yard clean and our workers busy and happy. I also do some buying and can make myself available to visit customers and price loads. When I am not in the scrap yard, I enjoy outdoor sports like surfing, skiing and golf.
Lorcan LaFleur
I have loved Accounting since the first time I learned about Debits & Credits over 20 years ago. Now, all these years later, I still love Accounting, but love the Team I am doing it with even more! I am newer to the recyclable materials industry and am excited to learn anything, and everything, I can about it! When not in the office, my wife and I love to attend concerts, go to the movies, or cheer on our New England sports teams.
Robert Chadbourn
Warehouse Manager, Receiving, Local Dispatcher
I started working at Harding Metals in 1995 when I was 13 years old. I’ve done a bit of everything including driving trucks over the road, but primarily, I’ve been on the receiving and shipping warehouse dock. I’ve seen us grow from prepping a few trailers a day to over a dozen. All the incoming materials from our accounts is initially weighed and graded through our scale. The combination of shipments and deliveries along with getting our own trucks ready for account pick-ups is a busy job and I must say we handle a lot of scrap. I have three kids and we enjoy camping and BBQing by the pool.
Ryan Chadbourn
Shipping Manager
As a kid, I worked summers infringing the boundaries of child labor laws, but I just could not get enough scrap (I love it!). I have been a part of Harding Metals’ evolution into a major regional scrap yard; it’s one the cleanest yards I’ve ever been to and we are proud of that. My current position is shipping manager and I also help with inventory control. If I can get a few days off, I usually take a page out of Jimmy Buffet’s book and head for a beach somewhere warm with a cold drink.
Rheal St. Germain
Facility Engineer
If you need something fixed, I am your man. If your looking for a good spot to kill a deer, I am not saying anything (unless you have some fine whiskey). I oversee maintenance throughout our facility, including trucks, lifts, balers, etc. Our industry can be tough on equipment and its not an easy job keeping up. Over the past decade or so, I have also had a lot to do with the evolution of the company from operations in our yard to how finished product is delivered and even how we collect scrap from suppliers.
Brian Auffant
Account Executive
I come from a real estate background and my current role in metal recycling marks my first job in this industry. I enjoy engaging with our suppliers, handling purchasing, reviewing incoming materials, and updating pricing and quotes. I actively work to bring in new suppliers and efficiently set up new accounts. Growing up, sports, particularly football, were a significant part of my life. I still love watching and playing whenever I can. Additionally, I have a passion for travel, making the most of opportunities to explore new destinations. Most recently I visited Italy and ate pizza almost every day.
Jameson Harding
VP of Purchasing
I started working at Harding Metals when I was 13 years old and have been full time ever since graduating college. I have learned the scrap metal business from the bottom up and have worked doing everything from stacking aluminum rims to running our grapple crane. Nowadays my primary job is working with both our industrial and dealer accounts to ensure we provide the best service in the industry. If you are looking to recycle your scrap, I can help you set up a customized scrap metal recycling program tailored to your needs. When I am not working you can find me on the slopes skiing or on the seacoast surfing.
Kevin Campbell
Human Resources/Environmental
I am the HR & EHS Manger. The crew calls me Kevbobb. I came to work for Harding Metals in the summer of 2010. I do a lot of behind the scenes work keeping certifications up to date, our yard environmentally sound and our crew/customers safe. I recently obtained my private pilot’s license, and my favorite day of the month is PIZZA DAY, when we provide lunch and safety/operational tips for the employees! If you would like to work for Harding Metals come see me.
Drivers
We, always, have a crew of over 25 skilled drivers. They are trained to be helpful, courteous, and respectful. When it comes to picking up material at your facility, we are confident and proud to send our drivers in to get the job done professionally.
Donna Johnson
Office Manager, Junk Vehicle Buyer
I love the high pace of action in the scrap yard, thriving on the hustle and bustle! My role revolves around maintaining office order and ensuring smooth operations. Whether it’s answering phones, training new team members, or handling vehicle titles, I’m here to keep things running seamlessly. Interacting with our customers brings me immense joy, and I’m committed to ensuring everyone leaves happy. Lately, I’ve developed a work addiction—buying junk cars and managing our ramp trucks. Feel free to give me a call for a quote! Outside of work, I cherish moments with my family and three dogs. Camping, hiking, and beach outings are my go-to activities for relaxation and enjoyment or even a get-away on a cruise.
Gigi Fallon
Business Systems Development
My role at Harding Metals is working with our ERP software to help our team be as efficient as possible in all areas of the business. I am huge New England Sports fan and enjoy chatting about the players and teams. I love spending time with my two sons and husband. As an animal lover, I also adore my 2 dogs and any other dogs that come to visit.
Jordan Dean
Dispatch/Customer Service
I play a crucial role at Harding Metals, where I specialize in providing top-notch service to our industrial clients, specifically with dispatch requests. You’ll often find me supporting our front office team and quite possibly handling your calls. Previously, I worked at a horse stable, but I’m thrilled to embark on this new chapter with the team at Harding Metals. Beyond work, my passion lies in horseback riding and embracing the beauty of nature, especially when it involves some form of motorsport excitement!
Kerri Beltran
Accounting Assistant
This is my first accounting job, but I have been in customer service since I was 15. I love the different things that I get to do all day long and my coworkers are great! In my free time I like to be at home with my family and our 3 dogs, swimming in our pool in the summer, or watching the Bruins in the winter. I love to travel and shop when I am not at home.
Alexandra Sutton
Administrative/Reception
I’m the friendly face you’ll likely encounter first at Harding Metals, whether you’re a retail customer, visitor, or a truck on the scale. Immersing myself in the world of scrap metals has been an exciting journey, and I take pleasure in meeting our varied customers during metal deliveries. Efficiency is key for me, as I strive to streamline the process and get trucks in and out of our facility promptly. Outside of work, I find joy in spending time with dogs, going on biking adventures, and staying active. Exploring new spots is a favorite pastime that I can’t get enough of!
Kristen Ricker
O.T.R. Dispatch, Outbound Shipment Manager
“Planning is everything, the plan is nothing” is something I have found to be true in my 11 years of Logistics. You can catch me with a phone to my ear at any given time here at Harding Metals. I dispatch and oversee the Over-the Road program with a focus on finding return freight to the Northeast from across the country for our long-haul drivers. Optimizing our freight logistics is the name of the game and I work closely with the team to ensure our inventory is constantly shipping. Outside of work you can find me unwinding lakeside or in the woods and I can guarantee – there isn’t a phone in sight.

RIP November 2013 — May 2023
Customer Relations will be forever missed.
I’ve been coming to work in the yard since I was a puppy. When I’m not hard at work greeting customers, you can find me strolling in the yard. My coworkers focus on scrap metal while I focus on scraps of food. In my free time I love to go for runs on the beach.
Our team is dedicated to serving our customers.
Our goal is to make recycling easy for you!
